Bolognese
Ingredients

400g spaghetti

1 onion, diced

2 carrots, diced

1 garlic glove, crushed

1 tin red lentils
-
1 tin chopped tomatoes

1 tbsp oregano
-
2 tsp bouillon
-
1 tbsp red wine (optional)

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Method

Add the onion, carrots and garlic to a pan with a small amount of oil and cook on a medium heat until softened

Add the lentils to the pan and combine with the onion and pepper

Once combined, add the tin of chopped tomatoes to the pan, along with the oregano, bouillon, Worcestershire sauce and red wine if using

Simmer on a low heat for 20-25 minutes until the sauce has reduced

In the meantime, cook the pasta according to the packet instructions

Drain the pasta and combine with the sauce. Serve with parmesan cheese
