Meatballs
Ingredients

500g ground turkey mince

1 egg

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

15g parmesan cheese

30g panko breadcrumbs

2 garlic cloves
-
450g passata
-
1 pepper, thinly sliced

350g orzo

Method

Mix together the turkey mince, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, grated parmesan cheese and panko breadcrumbs until combined.

Separate out into equal sized pieces and roll into meatballs.

Add the meatballs to a pre-heated pan and cook until browned on all sides. Remove from the pan and set aside.

To the same pan, add the garlic and peppers and cook on a medium heat for 5-10 minutes until softened.

Add in the passata and the meatballs and bring to a simmer. Cook on a low heat for 10 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly.

Cook the orzo according to the packet instructions.

Drain the orzo and serve with the meatballs and a sprinkling of parmesan.
